R.I.P. Whitney Houston

R.I.P. Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston..what can I say..when she sang live she made back phrasing work..perfect vocal placement. Technically and organically, she was singing perfection. what a beautiful sound. Closed her eyes when she sang , left the microphone in the stand in places that were taboo for us to do,…turned her back to the audience..she did all the things that were hammered into us NOT TO DO in Music Performance class…because “You can’t connect with your audience that way.” Lol..But..She connected with her audience a truly divine connection. She KNEW how to build a song p e r f e c t l y…Modulations were her signature….Whitney Houston one of the best singers ever… R.I.P.
